Qualitative research answers questions beyond what can be measured numerically—delving into opinions, emotions, and personal perspectives. This includes focus groups, test screenings, one-on-one interviews, and other interactive methods. We believe data alone can’t tell the whole story. Hearing from real fans about their thoughts and seeing their reactions to entertainment concepts adds an essential human element. That’s why we rely on the Good Entertainment Group for our research.
Quantitative research focuses on measurable data, often gathered through online surveys, quick polls, and large-scale statistical studies. By collecting and analyzing these numerical insights, we can identify patterns, behaviors, and trends that help our clients understand how audiences engage with different types of entertainment.
We love to test new entertainment ideas in the most direct way possible. Sometimes, because of technical requirements or the confidential nature of a project, we need participants to join us in-person. Most of our in-person research is held in Southern California at our headquarters in Los Angeles, but we also partner with facilities in Orange County, CA; San Diego, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Philadelphia, PA; as well as Canada, Brazil and Europe.
Many of our studies are conducted online, making them available to participants around the globe. Typically, you’ll need a computer with a functional webcam. Some studies may have additional requirements; for instance, a mobile test screening may require a specific smartphone model. Virtual focus groups are held via a video conferencing app, so you can join from the comfort of your own home—wherever that might be!
